ထိုသို့ လုပ်ဆောင်လျက်ရှိရာ ၂၀၂၆ ခုနှစ်၊ ဇွန်လ ၁၀ ရက်နေ့ နံနက်ပိုင်းတွင် မန္တလေးတိုင်း ဒေသကြီး၊ ပြည်ကြီးတံခွန်မြို့နယ်၊ (ဇ)ရပ်ကွက်၊ ၁၃၂ လမ်းနှင့် ၁၃၃ လမ်းကြားရှိ အိမ်အမှတ်(နန-၁၂/၁၃)သို့ အမျိုးသားနှစ်ဦး(စိစစ်ဆဲ)က ဆိုင်ကယ် တစ်စီးဖြင့် ရောက်ရှိလာပြီး လက်ပစ်ဗုံးတစ်လုံး ဖြင့် ပစ်ပေါက်ထွက်ပြေးသွားခဲ့သဖြင့် နေအိမ်ခြံဝင်းသံတံခါးအား လက်ပစ်ဗုံးထိမှန်ပေါက်ကွဲခဲ့မှု ကြောင့် နေအိမ်ခြံဝင်းသံတံခါးနှင့် နေအိမ်အတွင်းရှိ ရေခဲသေတ္တာတစ်လုံးဗုံးပေါက်ကွဲစထိမှန်ပျက်စီး ခဲ့ကြောင်း သတင်းအရ လုံခြုံရေးတပ်ဖွဲ့ဝင်များက သွားရောက်စစ်ဆေး၍ လက်ပစ်ဗုံးဖြင့် ပစ်ပေါက် သွားခဲ့သူများအား ဖမ်းဆီးရမိနိုင်ရေးအတွက် နယ်မြေအတွင်း သတင်းရယူစုံစမ်းခြင်း၊ အသွင်ယူ စောင့်ကြည့်ခြင်းများ ဆောင်ရွက်ခဲ့သည်။

Security Forces Quickly Identify and Arrest Two Men, Including a Member of the So-Called PDF Terrorist Group, for Hand Grenade Attack on House in Pyigyitagun Township, Mandalay Region

In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, streets, railways, government offices, and houses. PDF terrorists are recklessly carrying out landmine planting and bombings using explosives on public roads and bridges, with the aim of causing injuries to the public and destroying regional development.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on the morning of June 10, 2026, two men arrived by motorcycle at a house located between 132nd and 133rd Streets in (Za Kwel) Ward in Pyigyitagun Township of Mandalay Region. They threw a hand grenade at the house and fled the scene. As a result of the explosion, the house's door and a refrigerator inside the house were damaged. Upon receiving the report, security personnel went to the scene to conduct an investigation. They also carried out intelligence-gathering and surveillance operations in the area an effort to identify and arrest those responsible for the hand grenade attack.
As a result of these operations, on the afternoon of the same day, the offender who had thrown the hand grenade, Lwin Moe, 26 years old, son of U Naing, and a resident of Bauk Thauk Village in Sagaing Township of Sagaing Region, was arrested at 'KTS Mobile' shop located between 60th and 60(A) Streets on 134th road in (Za Myin Zwal) Ward, Pyigyitagun Township. In addition, the offender Bo Khant (aka) Khant Kyaw, 24 years old, son of U Thein and a resident of Moe Thauk Village in Sagaing Township, was arrested at the 'Zabu Kyaw' construction store located at the corner of 52nd and 130th Streets, in (Sa Lein) Ward, along with a CANDA-125 motorcycle allegedly used the commission of the crime,
According to the confession of the arrested offender Lwin Moe, in August 2024, through his acquaintance Yi Wai Aung (aka) Det Gyi, a member of the so-called PDF terrorist group, he attended a terrorist training course in a forest within Sagaing Township for about one month. He then returned to Mandalay and worked at 'KTS Mobile' phone shop. On 30 May 2026, he met with Yi Wai Aung (aka) Det Gyi at the “Ngar Doht May” guesthouse, located between 111th and 112nd Streets on 49th Road. There, Yi Wai Aung (aka) Det Gyi gave him one MG-1 hand grenade to carry out acts of destruction in Mandalay City. Therefore, it has been investigated and established that he threw the hand grenade together with his friend Bo Khant (aka) Khant Kyaw, at the house where the incident occurred.
The arrested offenders from the above incident, Lwin Moe and Bo Khant (aka) Khant Kyaw, are being prosecuted in accordance with the law. Security forces are continuing operations to arrest the remaining wanted offender, Yi Wai Aung (aka) Det Gyi, it is reported.
